Selected models of designed nodes in industrial steel structures are presented below. The calculations of the connections were performed in the IDEA StatiCa program. The 3D model of the joint and the corresponding reduced stress distribution ϬEq are shown.

Connection of the column, beams and bracing in an industrial building.

Location: Germany

Frame connection of the three-storey building.

Location: Germany

The truss node supporting the roof of the hall building and the transmission bridge resting on it.

Location: Germany

Main bracing connection in the edge beam of industrial building.

Location: Germany

Frame corner connection on seismic terrain. The blue line shows the theoretical location of the plastic hinge in the member, during an earthquake.

Location: Germany

Connection of the main load-bearing elements (column, beams, bracings) of a steel floor in an industrial hall building.

Location: Germany

Connection of the silo floor beams and the columns that support the silo roof and the steel structure.

Location: Austria

The base connection of a column of an industrial bridge, wherein its hinge connection is realized by a pin.

Location: Germany

Connecting the corner of a transfer tower that supports 4 industrial bridges.

Location: Germany

Connection of the main columns of the main industrial tower. The end plates are made of plates matching the contour of the cross-section in order to save material.

Location: Germany

Pre-stressed endplate connection of the main beam the industrial tower platform. Cross-sectional forces at the connection site My=40 [MNm], Vz=4.5 [MN].
